Diane Horn
Diane co-created Our Climate Journey.ca as a retirement project, acting as a concerned citizen and former environmental scientist. Having studied Environmental Biology prior to pivoting into entrepreneurship as a cofounder of a global social service software provider, Diane has long appreciated environmental protection, social justice, equity and opportunity. Diane spearheaded her company’s participation in a climate action/emissions reduction program over the course of 10 years and participated as a Board member in a local Sustainability organization helping businesses take climate action.

We are the generation that can cause a tremendous amount of irreversible damage or turn the ship and protect the earth for current and future generations. It is a big and complicated task, but also a simple directive — to stop putting greenhouse gases into the atmosphere. We have the solutions. We can do it.”
Duane Aberle
Duane is a graphic designer, web developer, and co-creator of Our Climate Journey.ca. He currently works as a freelance designer at Phosphene Graphics specializing in web design, motion graphics, UI/UX, and editorial design. Duane cares deeply about environmental, political, and social causes realizing that his work’s affect on the world matters and can be a part of a larger movement for social change. He is also an accomplished and prolific musician and has interests in technology, art, gardening, and nature.
